About Mount Buller

This mountain in the Victorian Alps of the Great Dividing Range is located in Victoria, Australia at an elevation of 1,805 m (5,922 ft). It was named by the explorer and surveyor Major Sir Thomas Livingstone Mitchell.

You can climb the peak of this mountain from Delatite River level as you follow the Klingsporn walking track. You will also find a Mount Buller Alpine Resort adjacent to the mountain. This resort is a popular destination for many families and skiers who wish to attend for the day.

The Alpine National Park is located in the Central Highlands and Alpine regions of Victoria, Australia. This park covers an area of 646,000-hectare (1,600,000-acre) and is the largest National Park in Victoria. This park covers much of the higher areas of the Great Dividing Range in Victoria, including Mount Bogong, Victoria's highest point. It shares its boundaries with New South Wales, where it abuts the Kosciuszko National Park.
