Details on the Map

The Hawaii State Map depicts the 6 main unrestricted islands of the states with high-detailed cartography. The layout of islands is drawn out in separate frames in their true proportion. State Capital, major cities and towns are marked with readable fronts in each enclosure. It also includes useful city map insets of Honolulu the state capital and Hilo the largest town in Hawaii.

The map is furnished with a city town index and distance markers. The Hawaiian archipelago with the entire chain of reefs are depicted in another locator. Physical attributes like mountain peaks, rivers, volcanoes, national parks and recreational areas can also be located with ease. A layout of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is boxed in a separate inset. Primary and secondary highways are specifically numbered and can be identified in a glance.

    Known as the “Paradise of the Pacific”, the State of Hawaii is the only island state of the US located in the central Pacific Ocean. The archipelago of eight major islands are only part of the US state politically not geographically. The map extent covers all six unrestricted islands. Access to Kahoolawe and Niihau islands are restricted and are not included in the map frame.

    • Hawai’i Island Frame

      Tour locations include Pearl Harbour, the volcanic shield of Waianae and Ko’olau, Waimanalo Beach amongst others. Primary and secondary cities are named in large fronts for quick reference. Airports are displayed with icon markings. The Kamehameha and Farrington Highways are prominently marked along with other roads.

    • Kauai Island Frame

      Nicknamed as the “Garden Isle”, the Kauai island is famous for its tropical rain forests and dramatic cliffs fringes along its coast. Towns like Kekaha, Kalaheao, Lihue, and Kapa’a are marked with bold readable fonts along with other major towns. Wildlife reserves, state parks and tour locations of the island are marked distinctively.

      Mt Waialeale, Na’Pali coast and the Hanalei bay can also be located with ease. Numbered highways, state roads and airports are other details that are included in the locator.

    • Maui, Molokai, Lanai Frame

      These three islands can be seen together in one frame along with its major cities and towns. The uninhabited Kahoolawe Island can also be located within the framework. Airport, state highways and major roads can also be placed with ease.

      Forest reserves and state parks are highlighted with green. Haleakala National park, located in Maui, is home to a dormant volcano.Molokai boasts of the longest fringing reef. Lanai is nicknamed the “pineapple island” because of its island wide pineapple plantation.

      The city map of State capital Honolulu contains all major points of interest, state highways, route maps and airport locations. The famous Pearl Harbor and the Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve are also visible in the inset.

      Hilo is the largest town in Hawai’i County. Points of interest in the city, Wailoa and Walluku rivers, State highways, airport, tollways, side roads are marked with clarity in this city locator.
    • Hawaii Volcanoes National Parks

      Hawaii volcanoes National Park houses the youngest volcano Kilauea which still erupts occasionally. Mauna Loa, the world’s most massive shield volcano, various forest reserves and the Hawaii belt road are other markings of the inset.
    • Hawaii Archipelago Inset

      The inset includes the entire chain of reefs, islets, rocks atolls stretching nearly 3000 miles across the central Pacific.
